Peter,

What are your plans now? You endorsed Sue, then she lost the primary. You then said you would endorse Paul over the Dem candidate. But now Sue says she's still running. Who are you endorsing, Sue or Paul?

I'm going to vote for whoever you are endorsing.

Myself and many others are also waiting for Petermeter's endorsement so we can vote the other way.

I considered this immediately after making the suggestion. I'm glad someone else caught it.

Peter, what was your purpose of endorsing Sue Nolen by writing a letter to the Saratogian during the Primary? Seems that you don't know what to do at this point. Sue lost the Primary, so you are going to follow your Party and back Paul, even though you really preferred Sue.

I'm sure Peter would be interested in considering a general election endorsement of Sue Nolen and the two democratic party Town Board Candidates (Young & Plante).....

You have absolutely no credibility. If you are a member of our town board I am truly fearful for the future of Malta. But hey, keep playing for Team Sausville, be a follower. I guess it must be a lot easier to let someone else do all the thinking for you. Afterall, you don’t seem all too concerned about the long term consequences of your actions just leave it to the younger generation to clean up your mess!

Did I see the campaign signs for SUE up again? Is this possiblly true?!!!!!!!How can the residents of Malta be be so lucky to possibly get a chance to rid the town of a tyrant, and have SUE as or Supervisor. I bet Paul is having a missy-fit.Now!!!!Now,we need to get all of the people out to make this dream become a reality.Let's not let any apathy by residents not make this opportunity a success. Boy!!!! the best news in a long time for Malta, don't you agree??? GET OUT AND WRITE IN THE NAME OF "SUE NOLAN" for the recovery of the policital needs, here in Malta. MAKE THE EFFORT....GET OUT....GET A RIDE...CALL EVERYONE..DON'T PUT THIS OFF!!!!MAKE IT POSSIBLE!!!!!!!

check out Davge Laplante's facebook page. He actually thinks he can get enough write in votes to be on the Town Board. Sue is on there advising him. How funny is that, they both think they can win by write-ins.

GEEZ! I know what an ironic thought. To have competent people running for office in this town. People who aren't actually those select few who were hand picked by the all powerful Sausville to spew his word all over this community. Isn't it just going to be wonderful when we have no businesses in towns to help support our tax revenue which will have to fund not just all of the normal expenditures of a town but also legal bills. Plain and simple, the man cares about the views of one population in this town and that is the republicans. It is very clear by the fact that all the 'surveys' where he actually asks for the views of the 'people' in this town are only sent out to those registered republican. God forbid we even bother to see what the Democrats, Independents or even the Working Families parties in this town want. Its town politics a smart politician would look beyond party lines but then again look who we're talking about.

Thank you for the advertisement DA, much appreciated. I'm not a bad person DA. Maggie, Orb, Dawn, Irishlawgirl, polisci, Sue, probably whitey and Peter Klotz know me personally and can attest to it. I guess we all want what is best for Malta but we have different opinions on how to get there. If you honestly think this town would be better off with Ruisi and Hartzell on the Town Board, then you really haven't explored your options. While Maggie and John are nice people, I am not entirely sure that the former is qualified to sit on a town board and the latter has enough experience living in and getting to know this town to be able to adequately legislate on behalf of the citizenry. While I respect your ability to have an opinion, I simply disagree.

Maniac:

You're right, we all are supporters of the ideas that we stand for. However, because of the manner in which you argue your position, (i.e., combative, defensive, no supporting facts only regurgitated rhetoric), you come across as simply... well... MANIACAL.

It's like you can't see the forest through the trees. I mean, there are those of us on this Board that recognize that the master plan could use a few "tweaks" (i.e., shorten the length of the core downtown; reduce the number of stories to the buildings)... You, however, seem to want to completely throw away the $200,000+ that the Town spent to put that plan together. It's like you can't even come up with your own thoughts... you simply regurgitate what you hear without any knowledge of why you're saying what you do.

Wrong again. But I guess you are probably use to hearing that. This is town politics! In a town like this it is foolish to think that either just democrats or just republicans running the show is what is best for our community. Something I like to do is to take the time to educate myself on where each politician sees Malta going. I look at current politicians decisions and where they have gotten us. In no way am I telling you to forsake your team all I'm saying is don't root for the yankees just because the guy next to you is.
