Well I don't think Obama has enough experience though he has a good "gift of gab". We already endured a President with little experience(G.Bush) and it has been diseaster. John Edwards also has not much experience but Hillary does, so does McCain. I think those are the better choices depending which side you are on, Dem or Republican.
Listening to Obama over the last couple of years, I've decided that he blows a whole lot of smoke. Which isn't to say the junior senator from the great state of New York doesn't tart up the truth from time to time. But his smoke troubles me. And, with him and Edwards pig piling so churlishly onto Hillary, the two of them just look like nasty, pouty school yard bullies. And this bullsh!$ about Bill and her demeaning Barak 'cause he's black is just, well, bullsh!$. So, even though I liked Biden, Richardson and even Dennis better in a lot of ways, I'm singing on with Hillary. She can be a boring policy wonk sometimes, but at least she shows some consistency. And she's our policy wonk.
it will end up as Hillary and Barak on the same ticket anyhow, and they will be narrowly defeated by McCain and the Diebold Corporation's voting machines.

PLease expand on all this experience that Hillary has. Being first lady does not qualify as experience (would you say Laura Bush has experience to be President?). Bush had a lot more experience as an executive when he was elected than Hillary currently has.
It's fine if you like Hillary, but don't use her "experience" as support for why she is superior over the other candidates or the current President.
I thought Hillary would be good until I kept listening to her promises. And those "tears" that she shed - who is she trying to kid? She's a cold hearted, unfeeling person. Those so called "tears" were well rehearsed because she knew she was loosing and the women in NH fell for it. I think Obama is a "real" person and could give us the change we are looking for. I don't think a female could make it as president. Besides, Bill would tell her what to do. If the Dems don't watch who they nominate they'll lose the election even though the people want change. Edwards could possibly make it as president. He's smart, well appearing and knows his stuff. I'm a republican, but no matter who runs in the republican party this time, I will not vote for him. They would only follow in Bush's steps. The country is a mess - the economy is sinking, food prices, gas and oil are out of sight, and the war goes on. These next 12 months under the republicans are going to be nothing but hard times for all of us. This mess will takes years to straighten out again.
And Hillary's experience as Senator for the last seven years has een nothing ut positioning herself for a run at the presidency. Remember when she ran for her first term as Senator in 2000, what her utmost, number 1 priority was? The Upstate economy! Well, she hasn't done much and, personally I don't think, she hasn't tried much, except to position herself for where she is now. She has been nothing but a politician. Nothing.
I am sorry to "upset" you guys about Hillary. You men seem to "fear" a woman in Charge. Mrs. Merkle in Germany is doing a good job there. The problem here in the USA is we vote for "Personalties". Who is the Handsomist, the better speaker, the most Carismatic. It should be about ISSUES and Policy. The "He--" with how good looking the person is. We want a Leader not a GQ model. It isn't a Mr. Or Mrs. America contest.
Oh! JP If Hillary "cried" (which she didn't really do, just misted up) You would have faulted her too. Hard as nails or soft, either way you are against her. 'Fess up. It is so much nonsense any how. The Media are the ones running the show and showing over & over again the clips they want. If the Media likes you they say good stuff about you. Otherwise they snipe at the candiddate. It is all controlled by "them". So I do hope you people can see beyond those tricks and pick a candidate to vote for that you really want to lead our country. We ALL have to live with the choice. I hope it is a good one.
