I can't keep up in this thread ...my feeble intellect can't comprehend ....please private message me any personal insults.
Malta Day is a good opportunity for folks to talk informally with elected officials and candidates. I think most people can spot the political BS that gets spread at such events and just tune it out.
Don't feel badly, Unholy. This thread is jumping from one thing to another. Let's make Luther Forest walkable with sidewalks connecting to the sidewalks along Dunning. That way we won't have to dodge the speeding cars and motorcycles coming down the street.
Speaking of sidewalks, I'd love to see the jogging/biking trail extended down to the Lake. Running down and up that hill is an exercise in attempted suicide. Plus it would be nice to ride the bike down to that restaurant on a weekend evening and sit outside to eat rather than having to get in the car. If I have to get in the car anyway, I might as well drive to Saratoga rather than support the local place.

Don't you people listen to Sesame Street ? ..."these are the people in your neighborhood - in your neighborhood, in your neighborhood - the people that you meet when walking down the street" ....this town and any new downtown is only going to succeed if you patronize it. I go to the diner, the grocery store, the pharmacy, Chinese, Pizza ..i even rented a UHAUL on Rte9 (now out of business) ..i use the bank ..take the niece to Bouncy Bounce (is that place closed now ??) ..McDonalds ...Vinnies Barber shop, Just Meats ...you have to support Malta . I like Sausville - he's passionate about the town ...he's got his signs out early ...he's been door to door ...he wants this job ..he's working to keep his job ...he likes this town and it shows. He will do whatever it takes to do what he thinks is right....you can't say that about everyone. Planner - could you get a more cocky or arrogant avatar ? Looks like the pint size King on Shrek and we all know what he was lacking. I guess it fits, since you stick up your nose to the diner but like paying for over-priced yuppy steak at the PRIME ....and yes ..i will resort to name calling since that's what us white trash do ...ya RICHARD !
You're right, Paul will do anything, at any cost. That's why he keeps getting in trouble with the local ethics board.... I don't see how calling me untruthful names is related to the discussion of Paul Sausville or downtown development but it seems to be the MO you stoop to consistently. I can't say I'm not surprised. Why don't you go out and pave your driveway or something, keep yourself busy and away from the big words that bound around on this site that make your blood boil..... For what it's worth, I like the diner, they have good breakfast. But you are correct that nothing beats a Prime steak up at Saratoga National, mm mmmmm. Maybe one day you'll be able to afford one too.
damn ...that's harsh ...my McChickenNuggets have just lost their pizazz ...i'll just skip right to the apple pie.
yes yes, mc donald's apple pies, still two for $1 I imagine....
He likes feeling in charge, even though he is not. He's got one vote on the board just like everyone else and he makes back office deals with developers and state officials to advance his personal political aspirations. Plain and simple.
what would be political aspirations ? congressman or senator ? county supervisor ?
He wants to wield power like Dave Meager used to.
