I don't follow politics all that closely or for the most part understand it.

But ...This Sen Espada ...defects from the Democrats, puts the Senate in a tailspin ...they literally do nothing for 5 weeks ..the Democrats roast this guy ...now this bum goes back to the Democrats and they open their arms to them ?? ...power has been restored and now he is the Majority Leader ?!?!?!

This smiling buffoon literally wasted 5 weeks of tax payer dollars - then is rewarded with a leadership post ?!?!
This guy is a bum - he should be out of a job - this is incredible !

Then all of them ...pat themselves on the back for staying at work so late and passing bills that "will help all New Yorkers".

They speak with such confirmation and authority ...with their plastic smiles and fake faces.

They speak with an air of supremacy ..like they are working for us and have us in their best interest.

They should all be shot - literally hung in a town square ....then we could throw stones and ridicule their hanging corpses. We need a revolution.

Unholy - Even I agree with you that Espada is a bum and should be taken to court for what he has done to the state this past month. Just as easily as he created havoc with the coup, he puts out the fire by defecting back. Unbelievable...

I believe the only reason the democrats welcomed him back was because a majority in the senate is too powerful a thing to lose, and the only way they could get the majority (i.e. woo espada back) is by offering him the position of majority leader....sickening...

Hopefully some well-minded democrat in espada's district challenges him to a primary in September. Heck, I'll move down to long island or queens or little havana to challange him and get him the heck out of the senate...

Even bankrupt California looks at our Senate and laughs....ughhh

Now that the most dysfunctional state government in the country is "functioning" again, watch for the resumption of the downstate serving policy decisions. The Republican (upstate) controlled Senate was the only brakes we had.
