Heh, I like that Nader commercial. Isn't it odd how any candidate that can actually think and presents real arguments for something different than the status quo is painted by both major parties as crazy? Nader, Perot, Paul, just to name a few...

I started reading that treatise in your last post, but I don't have time now. The beginning is an interesting argument, but seems a bit off. His premise is that the world is very black and white. That's where I stopped reading.

Exactly, Its both odd and sad. When the founding fathers made the constitution they made a 3 tier government, when you take that 3 tier government and put only 2 parties in it, you may aswell have a 2 tier government. As we know there is no such thing as two person/party integrity in State and Federal government. If a Dem puts there hand in the cookie jar, and the GOP does the same, they cancel each other out. Theres plenty other governments that run with 3 parties, and very successfully I might add. When one says the 3rd party cannot win, so they "haveto" vote for the lesser of 2 evils, that denotes the person is, whats called, Stuck in a paradigm. I always recommend voting ones heart instead of trying to be a frontrunner! I'll pick the person whom best represents me! I didn't care much for a few of Nader's preachings, but I know he would've held electorates feet to the fire, and he would've put Ron Paul as Fed Chair. In 2008 All 3rd Party candidates said they would've appointed Ron Paul as the Fed Chair (replacing Bernanke).

When it comes down to small town, Local governments, Its no surprise that theres 1 maybe 2 parties, but even if theres only 1 party theres always some line of separation, look at the MRC.

When I go vote for locals this year it won't be because of the candidates economics (or maybe its me). I'll be resorting to a couple other priorities, not pertaining to economics, that I think are important.

Its likely, but the last 4 times I was in the paper it was inaccurate and myself and anybody else involved was irrefutably misquoted! If it doesn't sound like me, its likely not me, or an accurate portrayal of.

As seen in the Post Star;

GLENS FALLS -- Local supporters of Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul will hold a rally from 1 to 3 p.m. Feb. 25 at the Centennial Circle roundabout in downtown Glens Falls.
"It's nothing really organized. It's all grassroots, some people trying to show some support," said Hans Scherer of Glens Falls, a campaign volunteer.
The rally is part of a "National Promote Ron Paul Day," with events being held around the country.
Paul, a Texas congressman, is running fourth in delegates so far, early on in the Republican primary process.
Scherer said he is confident Paul will win the nomination, once all of the states have held primaries or caucuses.
He said Paul's platform makes common sense.
"It's what everybody in this country should be listening to," he said. "Don't spend beyond your means. ... Don't police the world."

LOL. Might as well construct an argument around how pigs can fly. Even if one or two delegates vote their conscience, the vast majority will vote the way they are instructed, so Mitt Romney is the candidate.

Warren Harding did it Roy; your assuming ALL NEWT's, Santorem's, and Huntsman's Delegates are going to Romney in the second round. As long as Romney Can't get it in the first round, theres a chance. I wouldn't particularly appreciate 4 more years of the same old, let alone 8, Romney/Obama are 2 of the same. I'll take my chances with rooting for Ron Paul and promoting Austrian Economics.

Roy "Might as well construct an argument around how pigs can fly."

OK here it goes; If you've ever been overseas in the rainforest they have very thick canopy's, so thick one could walk on them without immediately knowing. If one goes to Okinawa Japan or the jungles of Africa, the host country nationals will forewarn you to be more wary of what above you than below you. Any critter, even as big as an alligator can end up landing on you at any moment; You know what they call that? (A Flying Alligator) its not that the gator has wings, but its that it took flight. Historians when reading cave drawings also now understand that, though a piece of communication\art has wings, doesn't denote the critter or human really had wings, but that the item depicted with wings took flight or was in the air at one point! With that being said, I hope I'm not the first person suspected when somebody drops a Pig on Roy, when he's walking into Malta Town Hall.

Donate to Ron Paul. Wink
