Older players (in our 50's!!!!) looking for an experienced solid bass player familiar with all the classic blues progressions. Vocals would be great too! We're currently playing a lot of Stevie Ray, Hendrix, Clapton/Cream, Allman Bros., Albert King, Muddy Waters, Blues Brothers, early J. Geils type stuff. We occasionally toss in a tune by the Beatles or Stones or anybody for that matter. Nothing that is that technically challenging, it's the groove and pocket that's the tough part!! Homework is the key (along with natural rhythm!) We have practice space near Saratoga/Ballston Spa and like to have a friendly loose fun filled atmosphere in which to jam. Having a couple of beers is part of it with us!! Not looking to teach or deal with wives or girlfriends or personal problems anymore, just looking for a good player that has it all together.
