We're looking for guitar, keys, and/or horns to complete an original funk/soul project. We currently have strong musicians on vocals, bass, and drums and we're looking for like-minded players. The style we're going for involves great groove playing, interesting instrumental interplay, and strong compositions/songs.

We love the old school (James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway) but we'd like players who also know the modern, hip-hop influenced stuff (Jamiroquai, Brand New Heavies, Me'shell N'degeocello, Leela James, Jill Scott, The Roots).

This isn't a jammy jazz project (cool, but not us). We want players who can compose great, tasteful parts and work together in an open, democratic way. This isn't a "soloist" oriented project; it's about interplay, songwriting, and shaking a**es.
