Established working dance party band Prolonged
Exposure seeks seasoned drummer with experience only. No hackers please. This is a very seasoned tight band with plenty of steady work. Vocals are also a plus but not necessary. Our drummer is leaving for one reason and one reason only, that being lack of time as we are playing much more than he can do at this time due to family issues. He will be missed so much, howeve,r he is prepared to stay on board until we break in our new member but would like to ultimately spend more time with his family by August 1st. We have alot of work lined up and need someone that practices, comes to rehearsals prepared and is a quick learner so that they be ready to gig fairly quickly. No egos please!!! Finally, this is a great band with solid players, and very laid back as well, however there are no attitudes/egos and we intend to keep it that way. Hello Deborah... sorry to learn you're losing your drummer, my cover band just lost our bassist for the same reason...
Anyhow... I'm a rock drummer with decades of experience, time and dedicated fully stocked rehearsal space in Saratoga Springs... Drums, PA, guitar, bass, guitar amp and pedal board, bass amp ,mics... Just add musicians and beer!
My cover band reheases weekly, so that leaves me plenty of time. Where do you rehearse? Where do you gig mostly? How often to you rehearse and gig out? Thanks in advance for your consideration and best of luck!

Thanks to everyone who emailed & called us regarding the drummer position with the Prolonged Exposure Band. We've been very fortunate in finding a permanent drummer fairly quickly.
