Fun, Turn-key position for experienced Rock Bassist!

Olde English is looking for a new bassist!

Established working band in search of fun loving, progress minded bassist!

We are a Saratoga Springs based rock cover band specializing in British Classics.

We are all in our 40’s and have been in rock cover bands since high-school.

This is a fun, but quality project.

Ideally, we practice as a band weekly, and gig once or twice a month.

We have a great fully-stocked plug and play dedicated rehearsal space in a new house in Saratoga Springs.

Fully stocked, as in... just add musicians and beer!

Full PA, drums, bass amp/tuner, US Jazz Bass, ’57 Twin re-issue hand wired tube amp with stand-alone reverb and full pedal board... 3 vocal mic’s... all instuments mic’d.

No lugging instruments, or hiding them in your car while at your day job... we flip a few switches, tune-up and rock!

Our name describes our genre... Olde English... as in: Led Zeppelin, The Stones, The Kinks, Bad Co., Ozzy, The Beatles, etc...

An experienced bassist with an interest in a great mix of fun/professionalism and forward progress will fit right in!

We have a passion for old British rock, the history, and the instruments used in the era... as such, the band is outfitted with period correct instruments, from the drums and cymbals, to the amps, guitars and basses...

A great, fun project for the right musician...

A low-key, audition/jam is easy since the space is ready to go with the flip of a switch...

Hey there...
I see you've heard from several respondents and are still looking. I will be as upfront with you as possible... I love playing bass and am willing to commit if I suit your needs. I am mainly a guitar player although derive unique pleasure from a bass playing role in a classic rock setting (especially the British rock that you're into!). I've played in a band last year that include some "classics" but it was mostly harder stuff that I wasn't really into. I work shift work that rotates weekly but am sure schedules can be coordinated.

Jaxe, to be honest, we are really looking for a experienced bass player that has had bass their main instrument. I am not implying that your are not talented, but have had many people to try out that are guitar players that turn to bass that have been bad. If you want to try out, let me know and I'll call you.
