Kitty found crying in the woods behind Mayapple. I can't keep her until owner is found. Will someone please hold onto her for a few days?

What kind of cat is it, do you know? I know someone who lost a main coon cat. What are the colors? Thanks.

HB - she is tiny and gray and white - I don't think she is main coon cat. Very friendly sweet little kitty.

Maggie, I am sorry we couldn't help you out with that. We are flat out with kitty stuff and we cannot take in another, even temporarily at this point. I have my own health issues that are really wearing me down ... both my partner and I.

I would suggest that you consider putting a picture and note up on

Whiskers Lost and Found - You can post

You also may want to check with The Haven. They may take displaced kitties in.

I did bring her to the haven but they would only keep her for the weekend and then off to the shelter. Desiree said she is well taken care of. We walked her around Mayapple this morning and nobody recognized her.
I will take a picture and hang notices around mayapple. She is a sweet loving little kitty and has clearly been loved.
She really can't stay here - my little dogs are insane.
Please let people know she has been found.
Thanks,
Maggie

If you could post a picture online here ... that would be helpful. At least you may be able to find a taker if not the kitty's owner.

Maggie, I know you are. I think you understand how I feel about kitties and taking care of them. This time I can help on the technical side and post the picture for you directly here. I hope you can find a home.

Did you try Arrowwood? Maybe someone living there lost her. She is a cutie. Someone must have lost her and misses her. Another reason to keep the kitties in doors. Makes me angry when people just let the young cats wonder. Hope she gets a better home.

Maggie: I wish I could take her - I have a 10 year old cat right now and my other cat died last year. I don't know if she would accept another kitty. I'm sure she will find a good home.

JP - would you be willing to be a foster mom and try it out? If your other cat didn't like I i will take her back and keep trying. The kitty is pretty good at avoiding trouble - she is practicing avoiding the little shih-tzu.
I really need to do something soon - my family is in revolt along with the dogs. My daughter is allergic to cats.

Maggie - What did you do for the fleas? Did Desiree say how old she could be? She's also my vet. Maybe I could stop by. You can reach me on my cell 301-1072.

Oh JP that would be great - I know if you meet her you will like her!
Desiree used advantage or frontline - they seem to be gone now. I was still finding a few around yesterday where she had been but none today so far.
Desiree didn't say old she was but that she was too young to test for leukemia which is why she can't help find a home for her/him. She did say she was well cared for and healthy.
I will give you a call!
Maggie

They certainly did seem to click so I am hopeful. It really depends on the reaction of her older kitty. I so hope this works out!
